critical thinking exercise -group-
Our group chose whose number 1, 4, 7, 10, 11, and 12. The criterion for judgment is what ability they have and if they can make next generation. Firstly, all of us chose 1 and 10, because of 1 is a physician and 10 is a skillful carpenter. There should be in need a physician in case someone is sick and a carpenter for in case repair or re-built the shelter. Secondly, we realized that physicians need medicines, so the number 4 is eligible because she is a biochemist who may have an ability to prepare for medicines. Thirdly, we chose number 12 because we think that it would be better to train someone for the next generation. Then 12 will be a 10’s pupil. Finally, we chose 7 and 11 in spite of they are homosexual. There is a risk which they fall in love with people whose sex are same, but at the same time, there is a high opportunity that they fall in love with people whose sex are different because the situation is so extreme. This is our choice.

critical thinking exercise
I chose the people whose number 1, 2, 8, 9,10and12. I chose them who have abilities which in needed at the small world; in the shelter. In the shelter, there need who can make discipline, doctor, who can make people relieve and who can rebuilt or fix the shelter, at least. So, 1, 2, 9 and10 are who must be there and eligible. I want 8 to survive because she is pregnant, and I think someone should by her side then I chose 12 because of he is the nearest age with her.
I choosed No, 1,3,4, 7, 8,10,and 11. I exluded others with reasons. No 2 is that I can not imagine that drill help us to survive. No. 4 is the Biochemist, so I choosed the researcher that No4. I think we can research in all situation but chemist can not work without laboratory. No.5 is that he must have like and dislikes in diet because he is the athlete. No. 6 is that most of starlets are too selfish to look after. No 9 is that Catholic hate gay and lesbian so I excluded him. No. 12 is that first year apprentice carpenter is less valuable than Mr fix it man.

Introduction
Spent nuclear reprocessing plant issue in Rokkasho is unclear whether safe or not because both camps do not try to understand their opponent’s opinion at all. In internet, or book they say completely reverse opinion each other. People who work for nuclear power, they carry forward their works at any cost, and they never see opponent’s side. People who against the nuclear power are the same, they only see the risk of spent nuclear reprocessing plant, so it is hard to catch the reality of it. This paper explain you about existing situation of spent nuclear reprossesing plant in Rokkasho from both camp’s views. I will see the issue scientific, and politicalic.
introduction of my essay "Where to for the young generation of Japan?"
At present the younger generation in Japan faces the negative impact of a range of social problems and issues that can be directly attributed to restructuring of Japanese economic policy under former Prime Minister Koizumi, wherein Japan moved from a big government to a little government approach to the economy. In Japan it is said that today is no longer the age of mass production and consumption but the age of searching after immaterial richness. In other words, spiritual richness is still more important than material richness. Then, why do say that now? In my opinion, there are two main reasons, first limitation of Maslow theory, (I referred a Maslow theory in detail after chapter) and I mean a desire which can be fulfilled by material is already achieved. Second the contents of seiiki naki kouzou kaikaku (social restructuring without sanctuary) operated by former prime minister koizumi jyunichiro were in directly speaking, big government to little government policy, and that meant at the same time, increasing a presence of self-charge (jiko sekinin). Then, I research social circumstances surrounding Japanese youth of today as can be seen through these social problems they face and their view of their situation.
Introduction of "Sustainable Development of Japan"
In recently, environmental problems are big issues for us. Until now, people have given preference to economic growth over environment on the market-based, especially; developing countries, such as China and India, have put economics growth ahead of everything else. Then, many kinds of environmental problems, for example, smog, acid rain, and desertification, have happened. Are we ignoring such situation? The answer is NO! Surely, It is important for us to grow economics but we have to care about not only economics growth but also environment. So, we think of an idea that “development” and “environment” are not contradicting but coexistent. This idea is “sustainable development”. The definition of the sustainable development is that “meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”. In short, we have a responsibility to preserve resouce for future generation to continue to develop. With the globalization, we have to think globally and act locally. For grateful earth, Japan should be sustainable. Now, I write some facts that I think that Japan should change, especially, self-sufficiency in food products and energy supply and population.

Yuumi's Introduction
I research a country which the most sever district in the point of women’s literacy rate; Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (follow on Afghanistan). Literacy rate in Afghanistan is the worst in the world and I focus on women’s status and education. Through researching the country which has severe situation, I am guessing I can see some resolution which can adapt other counties or situation. There is an Afghanistan history. Afghanistan was “Established in 1931. After the Soviet invasion in 1979, Japan hadn't given diplomatic recognition to any groups. In February, 2002, however, to follow up on the International Conference on Reconstruction Assistance to Afghanistan and to contribute to the peace and reconstruction process of the country, the Embassy of Japan in Afghanistan was reopened” (The Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
